Zsolt Matisz grew up in a woodshop. His father was a master carpenter in Hungary, and Zsolt spent his childhood years learning the trade at his side — measuring twice, cutting once, understanding wood at the grain level before he understood it intellectually. That hands-on education in precision and patience became the foundation of everything MM Home Improvements does today.

When Zsolt moved to the United States in 2018, he brought that craft heritage with him. He worked in the Philadelphia construction market for several years, learning American building codes and practices while applying the European craftsmanship standard he had grown up with. He met Krista, who brings operational precision and client relationship expertise to the company they founded together in 2022.

MM Home Improvements LLC was founded on a specific conviction: that the Main Line's extraordinary homes deserve renovation partners who treat craftsmanship as a calling, not a cost center. Every home on this line — from the Victorian stones of Narberth to the fieldstone estates of Wayne and Villanova — was built by people who cared. Our job is to honor that care when we work on these homes.
